2. If I am seen/treated at WVU, will I get into the study?
Being seen at WVU does not guarantee enrollment in any of our ongoing clinical trials. This allows us to consider you for the trial, but you would need to go through a screening process which includes multiple tests and exams. You will not be able to be in the study if the results of these tests raise concerns for your safety.

3. Do you reimburse for travel expenses?
At this time, we are unable to provide reimbursements for travel expenses.

4. Does CHH take Medicare/Medicaid?
The Center for Hope and Healing accepts WV Medicaid, but does not accept Medicaid through other states. Medicare is not accepted.

5. I don’t use opioids; can I be in the study?
At this time, we are only enrolling individuals with an Opioid Use Disorder. In the future, we may consider a trial to utilize Focused Ultrasound for other substance use disorders, however this may take a significant amount of time. We would encourage you to go to clinicaltrials.gov to look into clinical trials.

6. What if I start using opioids, would I be eligible then?
We do not condone the use of opioids as a means to be considered for this research study. Individuals who are eligible for this trial have a longstanding history of opioid use disorder, and this would not increase your chances for enrollment.
